pffft yeah. Have you seen that movie? Farce. Yet ANOTHER rottweiler used as the "bad guy".... *sigh*

I kind of refuse to see the movie. Mostly because it looks too corny and gimmicky... and because Underdog is CGI... and I'm just too fond of beagles to tolerate anything but the real thing. :p

And of course they're going to make a rottweiler the bad guy. They're no-good, awful, rotten dogs.

:) I've actually always loved the look of rottweilers. The only one I knew was kind of crazy, though. She had ticks or something when she was little and nobody paid attention. She got sick, and consequently, she got really, really insane. She loved my sisters.... hated me. Everytime she saw me, she'd break into very, very vicious barking. :p I truly believe she wanted me dead. It's such a shame that they didn't take good care of her. When she was being a sweetheart, she was positively wonderful.

Yeah, if the dog was that sick and truely couldn't help itself I'd probably have put it down. Saves the dog and people from a lot of pain (mental, if not physical).

Well, she was fine with them, so they didn't care. They were notorious for being neglectful. They had this cat that they didn't bother to look for when they flea-bombed their house. They came inside and found her huddled beneath the couch, her eyes as big as saucers.

They never bothered to get her fixed, either. She had litter after litter after litter. The ones that were born in the Summer survived and roamed the neighborhood.. and the ones that were born in the Winter died.

One of her Winter litters was born beneath a wood pile. They found out about them, and decided to attempt to lock her in their garage until the kittens died.

O_o Fortunately she got out. When she did, she promptly relocated them. Oddly enough, she moved them into our house. :p

We kind of stole her. Heh. Got her fixed, took her kittens to a no-kill shelter, and that was that.

...Not very fond of that family...

I'm glad you did that for the kittens. Its one thing to let nature take its course, so to speak, and naturally cull, but the lock the cat away until the kittens starve/freeze to death is both neglect and abuse. I have threatened to neuter stray dogs that I have found, before, if I ever caught them again.

I'm so jealous you got to watch this. Where was this one?
